This summer our workshop is working at full capacity. We are manufacturing 5 vacuum dryers Sanidry for different national and international customers from pharmaceutical and fine chemical industry.
2 BACHMIX R of 10,000 L for a national cosmetic company
Bachiller has manufactured two BACHMIX-R recirculating vacuum mixers, with a volume of 10,000L, for an important Spanish cosmetic company.
The Bachmix-R-type vacuum-based blender-homogenizer allows a wide range of operations for high viscosity homogenizations and fine emulsions, integrating vacuum and pressure operations, clean in place washing and sterilization that represent a technological advance in the manufacture of cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food and chemistry.
The Bachmix R controls all process parameters such as agitation velocities, temperature and vacuum/pressure. The slow-slow coaxial agitator or the Helix-type helicoid, combined with the new rotor-stator homogenizer with internal/external recirculation HRB-type with adjustable GAP, allows stable high fineness emulsions and high viscosity product and complex rheology.

SANIDRY Horizontal Vacuum Dryer for API
Bachiller has manufactured a 3.000L horizontal vacuum paddle dryer SANIDRY, for an important Spanish pharmaceutical company.
Bachiller has offered the client a turnkey project, supplying in addition to the dryer, all the appropriate peripherals to be able to maximize its use, mounted on skid: the vacuum generation and solvent recovery system, the power and control system outside and inside the clean room, a heating unit sized to be able to provide all the necessary heat for the process, and a cooling unit to provide the cold in the vacuum generation and solvent recovery stage.
Prior to the construction of the industrial equipment, a set of tests were carried out in the Test Center located in the Bachiller facilities.
In the complete report that was issued to the client with the information on the process, the operating parameters and the test results, it was possible to validate that the Sanidry horizontal dryer was the ideal equipment for their interests, for the following reasons:
– The equipment could process products with very high viscosities.
– Significant energy savings, due to the reduction of the resources used for drying compared to the equipment they currently had.
– Increase in production capacity due to the reduction in process time between 40% and 50% compared to the technology used up to now.
Vertical conical dryer for a nuclear company
Bachiller has manufactured a 600 liter vertical conical screw vacuum dryer in AISI-316-L for a nuclear company in the Netherlands.
The customer’s product required a drying process at temperatures above 300ºC combined with a very gentle and careful mixing action with the morphology of the product.

Supramix MVC-1-S dryer for multinational mining company
Bachiller has manufactured a 1,000 liter Supramix-S in Hastelloy C-22 for a Canadian multinational in the mining sector.
The equipment consists of a vertical spiral vacuum dryer with cartridge filter, power panel and touch panel control, a vacuum skid and a solvent recovery unit.
In order to achieve an industrial process with reliable results, Bachiller previously simulated the client’s process in its Test Center, a process that required specific drying conditions that respected the physical-chemical properties of the product given its high added value. Once the necessary adjustments were made and the expected results were achieved, the equipment was scaled with the appropriate technology to a desired standard industrial size.
CIP system for the pharmaceutical division of a chemical multinational
We are delivering a 100 liter mobile CIP system in AISI-316-L for a German multinational manufacturer of biopharmaceutical proteins.
The Clean in Place equipment is specially designed for cleaning process tanks in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries with high efficiency and low water loss.
It consists of an automated industrial cleaning system, through parameterization and launching of specific recipes for the different cleaning needs of the product and equipment, rinse with clean water, hot water, reclaimed water, purified water, automatic dosing of dilute acid, dilute soda or disinfectant solution, depending on the application.

30 meter column for French petrochemical company
Bachiller has successfully delivered a new 30 m column in AISI-316-L for a renowned French petrochemical company.
The equipment has been built entirely in the workshop of Parets del Vallès, Barcelona, and has been delivered fully equipped with insulation, platforms, ladders and other elements.
Bachiller designs and manufactures all kind of columns and towers according to the main international mechanical design codes, using the ultimate design software and under the particular specifications of the client.
We have renovated part of our facilities
2020 is being an atypical year for everyone, but at Bachiller we continue working on all the activities and projects in progress as we have always done. For this reason, and to maintain our productive capacity in line with our high-quality controls, we have renovated part of our facilities.
The new warehouse will be used for machining work, to improve and streamline the production chain of our equipment and mitigate the inefficiencies that may arise during the processes. In addition, we have installed a higher pitch crane to improve equipment mobility.
