New contract: Biconical mixer for a multinational chemical company

Bachiller has closed a contract for a 6,000 liter MBC Double Cone Mixer for an important multinational in the chemical sector.

The Biconical Mixer in AISI-304L will allow our client to mix and homogenize solid mixtures of products with special requirements, through a particularly gentle treatment that is effective at the same time with ratio rates between compounds of up to 1: 10,000.

This equipment is made up of two truncated cones joined together by a cylindrical body, that rotates on its transverse axis, causing the product to mix with the rotation driven by a reducer motor.

Horizontal Vacuum Dryer Paddledry MHT-6000S for a chemical company

Paddledry MHT-6000S

Bachiller has delivered a 6,000-liter Horizontal Paddle Dryer in AISI-316-L to a Spanish chemical company.

The MHT-S equipment is specially designed for vacuum drying Applications with high mechanical demands or high temperatures. The shaft is firmly secured to both side shell with sealing by mechanical seal and rotating at very low speed, providing very high torque, which is especially suitable for high viscosity applications, with pseudo-plastic phases. The equipment may also be designed as a reactor (MHT-R) or as reactor-dryer (MHT-RS), allowing reaction and reaction + vacuum drying operations to be carried out.

3,770 m² Heat Exchanger for a German engineering

Bachiller has successfully delivered a new 3,770 m² Falling Film Evaporator to a German engineering company specialized in the design and construction of chemical projects and plants.

This piece of equipment is part of a bigger set composed of the heat exchanger, a 42 m³ Centrifugal Separator, a 64 m² Surface Condenser and several Vapour Ducts. All made of 316L Stainless Steel.

The loading process was really exciting due to the high length of the piece of equipment that required the support of an extra crane and exceptional long transport.

Bachiller designs and manufactures all kinds of tailor-made shell and tube heat exchangers, according to the main international mechanical design codes, using the ultimate design software and according to the particular specifications of the client.

The most common applications are aftercoolers, boilers, catalyst reactors, concentrators, condensers, coolers, double sheet exchangers, evaporators NH3, exchangers for liquids – gas, heaters, preheaters, reboilers, reflux condensers, sublimators, vacuum evaporators and vaporizers.

2.000L Horizontal Vacuum Paddle Dryer for API production

Delivering a new 2.000L Sanidry, a horizontal vacuum paddle dryer with sanitary design, to an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Fine Chemicals manufacturer in Germany.

The Sanidry vacuum dryer by Bachiller is the ideal industrial dryer to meet customer needs since the products to dry are highly toxic substances. Hygienic equipment is required to comply with GMP standards and ensure operator safety.

The Sanidry, horizontal vacuum paddle dryer, belongs to the group of drum dryers with paddle rotation in their interior. Its sanitary design, with a heating surface maximised in paddles over the shaft and body of the dryer, guarantees the drying of all types of moist, crystalline, amorphous or paste thermo-sensitive products in a vacuum process.

The body, shaft and paddles of the vacuum dryer are fully heated to maximise heat exchange. The tolerances of the vacuum dryer assembly allow the turning of the paddles at very close distances to the wall, for continuous renewal of the product being exchanged.

Delivering: Stirred Reactor in Titanium Gr.7

We are delivering, to a well-known chemical company in the Netherlands, a Gr.7 Titanium reactor of 53 m³ with a three-shaft agitator.

Titanium grade 7 is the most resistant to corrosion of all titanium alloys currently available. This grade is especially suitable for applications that require resistance to general corrosion and resistance to localized corrosion in cracks. It also exhibits good welding and forming characteristics as well as good overall strength.
