Bachiller has manufactured a turnkey mixing installation for nutraceutical products for a major Spanish company.
The installation consists of a 2,000 l capacity Supramix, vertical ribbon mixer for solids and powders, with automated product loading and unloading and CIP cleaning system.

The “nutraceutical” word is a composition of “nutrition” and “pharmaceutical” and includes medicinal products made from natural ingredients, including isolated nutrients, dietary supplements and herbal products, specific diets and processed foods such as cereals and soups. It is a growing sector that requires a high-quality mixing, with a high-quality demand equivalent to the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, the Bachiller mixing installations comply with the GMP and EHEDG sanitary design regulations. In addition, this installation is designed to comply with the maximum ATEX level (20) for the interior of the machine.

The Supramix is ​​a vertical ribbon mixer for solids, especially suitable for the mixing and industrial homogenization of powdery products with similar granulometries in short times, respecting the morphology of the products and with a total emptying.
The Supramix ribbon mixer consists of a vertical mixing spiral, rotating at a moderate speed to achieve an upward flow of perimeter product and a central downward flow.

Powtech 2019. It has been 3 days full of meetings, visits, conversations and work, a lot of work.

One of the largest European producers of hydrolyzed collagen in the world has relied on Bachiller for the manufacture of a large vertical spiral mixer for one of its plants in Latin America.

The collagen hydrolyzate (CH) is a nutraceutical, composed of a mixture of amino acids, peptides and polypeptides, used as a tissue regenerator since it increases the synthesis of macromolecules in the extracellular matrix of the cartilage. Collagen forms the structure of the tissues of the locomotor system, especially the elements of the joint (cartilage, ligaments and tendons), and the protection system such as the skin and fasciae.

And they will use our Supramix for the mixing. This mixer with spiral in cantilever is especially indicated for the mixing and industrial homogenization of powdery products with similar granulometry in short times, respecting the morphology of the products and with a total discharge.

New contract: installation of sugar glaze production line for the American market.

Bachiller is designing and manufacturing sugar glaze production facilities for a well-known international brand. The installation is designed as a modular process skids to be easily transported and installed at the customer´s site in a shorter time.

It is composed of several powder mixers, liquid processing equipment, CIP system, automatic loading and unloading hoppers and automatic product conveyors.

Work in progress: 2 TURBOMIX Horizontal Ploughshare Mixers.

These two powder mixers have been commissioned by an important Spanish engineering company specialized in applications for the food and pharmaceutical industries.

It’s a high-performance mixer for intense and fast processes (5 minutes maximum), suitable for all kinds of products including very disperse granulation and densities.
It works with plough type blades rotating at high speed, centrifuging the product violently generating turbulence in the mixing chamber.

Supramix-S Secador de Espiral

Bachiller is glad to announce a new 4,000L Supramix Vertical Spiral Mixer setup.
This model has been designed for an industrial pigments production company located in the Barcelona area, Spain.

A homogeneous dispersion of coloured product particles is one of the crucial requirements of this application. Our equipment is able to process batches free of dead areas and unmixed particles achieving high particles distribution ratio, with a mixing capacity from 1:1.000.000 in only a few minutes.

The equipment is designed to allow easy cleaning and avoid cross-contamination.

Bachiller closes a new contract for the manufacture of a new mixer for an active ingredients company in France.

The Supramix vertical spiral solid mixer by Bachiller, is especially suitable for the mixing and industrial homogenisation in short time of powdery products and those with similar particle sizes, respecting the morphology of the products and offering a complete discharge. It allows liquids to be added during the process.
